When my computer went into "sleep mode" recently, there was no way I could wake it up. Ordinarily, I have a cute little
computer technician I call who comes to my rescue, but he was unavailable. So, desperate, I called Ron. I had a ton of work
to do, and while my computer obviously decided to take a nap, there was no way that I had time for that. I had magazine deadlines
looming, edits halfway done, a website to update, and an upcoming online writers conference just ahead where I was to conduct
four workshops.
In a matter of less than half an hour, Ron had given this very untechnically adept person instructions
on what to do that I could even follow them. I wrote down exactly what he said to do, and Voila! With about four simple steps
my computer was awake and rested, just raring to go. I met all of my deadlines, and even got a little bit of my own writing
done.
